Join us for a morning of slowing down. During this workshop, I will share loads of local flowers and offer the opportunity to explore creativity in one of the most forgiving media– flowers!

Have you ever picked up a bouquet of local flowers, but weren’t quite sure how to show them off in a vase or other container? At the workshop Marnie will share some basic floral design principles, always with the understanding that principles are made to be defied because every flower design should reflect your individual style!

I will walk participants through the creative process, provide education on sustainable floral arrangement alternatives to foam & plastic, and demonstrate techniques that will highlight the beauty of the chemical-free flowers and foliage. I will share insights on the work of tending a growing flower farm that is friendly to native insects and fauna. You will receive all the materials you need to construct and design your own lush arrangement. Your registration includes a latte from Aunt Chubby's Luncheonette, an assortment of breakfast pastries, and the absolute joy that comes with playing with flowers.
